The shipwreck beach

I discovered this amazing view of the Greek island of Zakynthos in a collection of spectacular photos on internet and since than I had the desire to see that place in person. In 2019 I spent two weeks on that island discovering many wonderful places and the breathtaking views of the famous shipwreck beach.

The memory of the white stone and  turquoise water has been a strong inspiration for this painting and some further work that still hang in my mind
