Painting at the temples

A painting  begun in the archaeological area of Peastum where I was with friends from the "Bottega dell'Arte" association for an exhibition and then finished at home. In the painting you can see one of the famous Doric temples and a painter who, like me, painted on site in the shade of the characteristic Italic pines to seek refuge from the heat of the southern Italian summer.

This painting is part of my research for a style of contemporary impressionism with the careful rendering of light and the freshness of pleinair sensations
