Earth and sky

I began years ago to work out the idea of a mystical and erotic encounter between earth and sky represented as elements of a landscape in which the clouds have a male shape and the earth a female shape, it took many sketches and several attempts to focus the image and paint it on the canvas becoming a powerful metaphors.
When I look at the result I realize that the painting could represent the ancient myth of Gaia and Uranus and that the point of contact between the two as the source of life or in our times the earthly cry of humanity to the spiritual dimension.
