In my career I have had many exhibitions in Italy and Europe, even in prestigious places such as the Louvre in Paris, but it was the first time I had a showcase entirely for my creations in the historic center of an important city like Udine.
The theme of the collective exhibition "Artworks that tells a story" fits perfectly to many of my paintings that suggest stories and feelings that every viewer can complete with their own imagination.
Thees are the words that the Gallery curator used to present my works: For Marco Busoni, the representation of beauty is an irrepressible need, a natural action that leads him to create paintings in which the symbolic and allusive component combines naturally with the immediacy of a gesture, a look or a smile. The mermaids charm us with their angelic faces and their clear eyes, they seem to want to attract attention to tell something, perhaps a secret perhaps a doubt. Busoni rereads the myth and the allegory always in an aesthetic key leaving the observer free interpretation.
