Biography

I began painting at 10 years, and continued during my scientific studies, following an instinctive need to express myself, I absorbed eagerly every artistic teaching but at that time I mainly discovered graphic arts by myself trying many different techniques, enjoying particularly watercolours and oil painting. Poster for Fenia Christou

The Greek singer and composer Fenia Christou have chosen my painting “A trick of the light” for the posters of her concert tour in 2020 We begun a collaboration as I ask her to use her music as soundtrack for my the videos I make with my paintings for social networks, her tracks like “Siren” and “Demons lullaby”  are a perfect combination to my paintings and in this synchronicity between music and images exalt each other

The artists back alley

In 2019 the town of Usmate Velate invited some members of the artist association GA99 to contribute to a permanent public collection an a small alley in the center of the town to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the foundation of GA99. 10 meter wall print

In 2015 I had a special photo commission for a extra large image that should fill a 10 meter long wall. The photo should display a the traditional courtyard that lays behind, making the wall somehow invisible. I assembled in a single bitmap 20 photos shot with a 36 megapixel full frame camera generating a 312 megapixel image, the result print was amazing sharp fooling the views pretty well.  

Renaissance Hotel – Hamburg

The presidential suit of the luxury Renaissance Hotel of Hamburg  has been decorated with a large glass print of  my artwork “A trick of the light” the bright image of the mermaid float over the dark blue moquette of the exclusive room

The Way of the Cross

In march 2016 Marco Busoni contributed with the painting “Poor Jesus” to the way of the cross in the church of Linas, in France not far from Paris. The church was restored after a period of neglect and needed decorations on the empty walls,  the “Bottega dell’arte” was invited to produce the 14 paintings for the stations of a traditional way of the cross.
